Innovation High School Information

INNOVATION  High School opens this fall and we are READY to provide an absolutely stellar education for all our students.  We are so happy you have joined us and will be a “founding” member of the school.

Below and attached is general information.  If anything is unclear or you have additional questions, please contact Marcia@prideprepschool.org.

Notification System

This is the first time we are using the email/text notification system.  If you are not receiving this information in the manner that you wish – please let us know.  If there is another member of the family that you would like to include in these communications, let us know.  Marcia@prideprepschool.org or 309-7680.

Office Hours

The PRIDE Office will be open on August 22, 23, 24, and 28th from 9am – 7pm.  There will be construction throughout the school all summer so if you need to reach us during that time – please send an email – do not call because power will be shut off intermittently.   Marcia@prideprepschool.org.

School begins for Innovation on Wednesday, September 6th from 8:00am – 11:00am.

            Breakfast Served

School hours on September 7th and 8th 8:00am – 12:30pm.

Breakfast and Lunch Served

Regular School Day begins September 11th from 8:00am – 3:30pm. 

Fridays are from 8:00am – 12:30pm

Orientation

9th grade only on September 5th from 5:30pm – 7:00pm.  This is a mandatory meeting for both student and parent.

Dress Code - entire policy ( <--- Linked PDF) 

Students are required to follow the dress code and will be sent home unless a parent is able to bring in the appropriate items.  There will be no free dress Friday or college gear Thursday this year.

School Supplies/Fee – due by September 8, 2017

REQUIRED - $60

includes Lab Coat, Lab Fees, ASB

OPTIONAL

Yearbook - $35

Keyboard - $15 or provide your own (required)

Headphones - $10 or provide your own (required)

Athletics - $45 – includes any or all sports- one time fee only

These can be paid several ways:

Myschoolbucks.com – you just set up an account.  The only information you need is your students’ birthdate.   If you have a previous account under Spokane Public Schools you must change your school to PRIDE Prep. 

Cash – at the office

Breakfast is $2.00 and Lunch is $3.00 and can be purchased several ways:

Free and Reduced applications will be available on August 22nd.  This needs to be filled out each year to be eligible. 

Health Plans and Medications

If your student needs medication dispensed during school hours by INNOVATION Staff, please complete this attached Medication Request form ( <--- Linked PDF)   and have it signed by your physician.  This needs to be completed and returned with the medication prior to the start of school.

If your student requires a health plan, please contact us immediately and our nurse will prepare the required paperwork for your doctor to sign.  Contact Marcia@prideprepschool.org.  This MUST be completed prior to the start of school for your student to be eligible to attend.

Please check your student immunization records to assure they are up to date.  See this document ( <--- Linked PDF)   for requirements.  When we receive the cumulative folder from your prior school, we will enter the information into our student information system.

Bus Information

The routes, stops, and times will be available in mid-August.  We will send this to you as soon as it is complete.

PRIDE Prep Middle School Information

We are looking forward to a new year at the PRIDE!!  We are making some fantastic changes to the middle school over the summer, welcoming new staff, and preparing for the best year ever at PRIDE. Each and every student brings something exciting to our school culture and we are so fortunate to have you.
