Who is eligible to enroll at PRIDE Prep?

PRIDE Prep is for 6th through 12th grade students.

For the 2015-2016 school year, PRIDE Prep is accepting applications for 6th and 7th graders.

Each year, we will add an additional grade. For the 2016-2017 school year, we will accept 6th, 7th and 8th graders, and so on. By 2021, we will accept all grades from 6th through 12th.

PRIDE Prep is a good fit for any student looking for a student-centered learning experience, who is looking to become a self-directed learner, and whose educational goals extend beyond high school.

How do I enroll my child in PRIDE Prep?

PRIDE Prep is an open enrollment school and any student can submit his or her name for enrollment in the lottery. The lottery is a lawful and fair way of selecting the students who will receive our limited seats.  A wait list is created for any students not selected in the lottery.

Your child’s information is then entered into the lottery held every March. If we draw your child’s name, you will complete registration paperwork to hold your child’s seat at PRIDE Prep. If your child is not selected, you are placed on a waiting list if space becomes available.

What is the deadline for enrollment?

Enrollment information must be received prior to February 25, 2015, to be eligible for the lottery. The lottery will take place in March 2015.

When is the first day of school?

PRIDE Prep will open its door to students on September 2, 2015 for the 2015-2016 school year. The school year lasts 190 days. The school day is every weekday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
